Hello Church Family,
Q: What is our only hope in life and death?
A: That we are not our own but belong, body and soul, both in life and death, to God and to our Savior Jesus Christ.
Memory Verse: Romans 14:7–8 For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.
I hope that you have had a chance to meditate on this truth about our position in Christ this week.
Tonight is our first church Prayer Meeting of the Fall. 7:30pm – 8:30pm at the church. We do our best to begin and end on time so I hope you can join us.
Sunday September 22 will begin our Sunday School time. Last week was cereal, this week it is for real! Thanks again to all of our teachers and to all of our students of all ages. A reminder to all our teachers and adults who volunteer with our kids programs to please complete the Plan to Protect 0-18 Orientation as soon as possible.
On September 29 we will celebrate the Lord’s Table as a church family. It has been far too long! Following the service we will have a Potluck lunch.
Crafty Saturday – October 5 from 10:00am – 4:00pm.
