A Welcome from Pastor Dan Geddert
Welcome to Mirror Alliance Church! My prayer is that you will visit soon and discover a warm and inviting community of others on a journey together learning to follow Jesus. I love what the Apostle Paul wrote in a letter (2 Corinthians 5:17-20), “God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And… we’re Christ’s representatives… to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them… Become friends with God; He’s already a friend with you.” (the Message paraphrase)
Dan and Anne arrived in Mirror in the fall of 2021 after spending the past 5 years in Red Deer near some of their kids and grandkids. They’ve been married for nearly 40 years, have 3 adult married children, 10 grandchildren and one single young adult son. They enjoy the outdoors, doing home improvements, reading, neighbourhood connecting, drinking coffee while reading and praying in the mornings in front of a fireplace. Pastor Dan can be found in the church office, in the community or working from home. Wherever he is, he can be reached by texting 403.505.3763. Anne works part-time as the Mirror Community Librarian and as the church administrator, working from home or at the church office. Dan works 1-2 days a week on a farm doing handyman jobs.
